This is my 2nd time owning one of these spreaders. Had one many years ago and it served me well. Had the need recently for a new spreader and knew for certain that this would do the job. Simple to assemble in about 10 minutes. I would recommend to do the calibration check once you have put it together as mine needed a fair bit of adjusting to get the drop bar to align with the mark on the v-slot teeth. Take the time to do your researh on the drop rates you need for whatever products you are using. I used it this morning and it did a perfect job for me. Very important to wash the entire spreader really well after use and very important to let it fully dry out before storing it away. Otherwise you will inevitably shorten the life of the unit as the spring mechanism underneath can be particularily prone to corroding and failing if any residual product is left on it. Look after it and it will work well for you every time. Recommended.
