Horticultural Retail Assistant

  • At least 2 years experience in a horticulture, Floristry or garden centre retail role preferred
  • This is a sales focused job which requires knowledge and understanding of the establishment and maintenance of plants, pruning, fertilising, pests and diseases
  • Must be enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for plants and gardening
  • Experience working out doors and manual handling, lifting of composts, pots, trees etc
  • Excellent communication skills essential - you must be a team player and have a desire to deliver outstanding customer care
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast paced environment

Retail Merchandiser

  • At least 2 years experience in a horticulture, Floristry or garden centre retail role preferred
  • Strong organisational and task management skills essential
  • Ability to ensure products are allocated / redistributed across store to maximise sales output
  • Previous achievement of creative displays an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills essential - you must be a team player and have a desire to deliver outstanding customer care
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong IT abilities and competency with Excel
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to carry out other duties where necessary

Customer Care Assistant

  • At least 2 years experience in a retail role
  • Must enjoy working directly with the public, and providing a high level of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Strong IT abilities and competency with Excel
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure consistency and best practice
  • Answer customer queries with regard to the store and its merchandise in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately compute sales prices, total purchases and receive & process appropriate payment from the customers in line with cash register and/or cash handling policy
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to carry out other duties when requested
