How to Grow

1. Choose a spot with full sun or light shade and well-drained soil.
2. Plant bulbs 8–10 cm deep, pointed end up, spacing them 5–7 cm apart.
3. Set bulbs in the ground from September through December, when soil temps are between 0 °C and 15 °C.
4. Water lightly after planting to settle soil—no need for frequent watering thereafter.
5. Mulch thinly to conserve moisture and suppress weeds over winter.
6. In spring, remove any spent foliage once it yellows to encourage bulb strength for next year.
7. Allow foliage to die back naturally; do not cut leaves while still green.
8. Leave any self-sown seedlings undisturbed to fill gaps in future seasons.
