The tulip comes in almost every colour and is one of the best-known flowers in the Netherlands. They have to be planted September onwards and the flowering time is from April till June. Especially the 'botanic' tulip is suitable for the garden. They can remain in the ground and will flower again the following year.
They have a flowering height of 20 cm (8 inches) and should be planted at a depth of 15 cm (6 inches) and spaced 10 cm (4 inches) apart. The best planting time is September onwards
